Dorothy Frances Carroll

Dorothy Frances Carroll, age 91, widow of Preston Carroll, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born on January 22, 1934 in Greenville, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Odie Nelson and Edna Pace Nelson. Dorothy was previously employed at Anderson Hosiery and NHC of Clinton. She was a faithful member of the Church of God, loved to cook, an avid reader and animal lover.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael Carroll (Lessie); her daughter, Rhonda Duncan; her grandchildren, Jason Duncan, Jennifer Owens and Jessica Craine; her four great-grandchildren and her brother, Jimmy Nelson (Lucille).

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Carroll and her brother, Bill Nelson.

The family is not planning a service at this time.
