Donnie Ray Humphries

Donnie Ray Humphries, age 56, of 534 N. Main Street, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of Shirley Humphries Proffitt of Clinton and the late Furman Humphries.
Donnie was a graduate of Clinton High School and a US Navy Veteran.
He was formerly employed with Baldwin Automotive of Laurens where he was an ASE Certified Technician and was presently employed with ZF Transmissions.
He was also a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church; former member of Joanna Lions Club; and was past District Governor of 32D and a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Laura Humphries of the home; his daughter, Michele Langston of Laurens; his brother, Randy Humphries of Florence; his sister, Rhonda Humphries of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be conducted Friday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church by Rev. Phil Bryson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church family life center.
