Donald Wayne “Donnie” Baker, Jr.

Donald Wayne “Donnie” Baker, Jr., age 48, of Whitmire, husband of Jennifer Baker, passed away, Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his home.

Born April 12, 1977 in Greenwood, SC, Donnie was the son of the late Linda Shinall Baker, and was raised by his grandparents, Milton and Grace Baker. He was formerly employed as a CDL driver and served as a volunteer Firefighter with the Whitmire Volunteer Fire Department.

He loved motorcycle rides, woodworking and crafting, but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, Donnie is survived by his children, Ashton Baker, Angel Baker (fiancé, Max Stewert), and Autumn Baker, all of the home; and his sisters, Tina Griffin, LaDonna Hall, and Kimberly Gault, all of Whitmire.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Whitmire First Baptist Church with Rev. Jarrod King officiating.

The family requests privacy at their home during this time.
