Cornelia Tankersley Nelson age 54, of 35 Subertown Lane, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
She was born in Union, SC and was a daughter of Clyde and the late Ruth Steele Tankersley.
Mrs. Nelson was of the Baptist Faith and belonged to the Hillbilly Clan #2.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Francis Nelson, Jr. and wife, Nikki of Greenwood and Ben Joshua Nelson and wife, Heather, of Whitmire; two sisters, June Tankersley and Darlene Wicker, both of Whitmire; and five grandchildren, Robert F. (Trey) Nelson, III, Elijah Brook Nelson, Jacob Thomas Nelson, Ashton Fisher Nelson, and Makaylee Alyssa Nelson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Nelson, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at
3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire.
The family will receive friends before the service on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
