Carl E. Eaton

Carl E. Eaton, age 79, of 110 Foxgrove Road died Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late Bennie and Janie Campbell Eaton.
Mr. Eaton was a retired Police Officer with the Clinton Police Department with 26 years of service; was a House Painter and served in the National Guard. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Eaton is survived by his wife, Betty Price Eaton of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Allen Eaton and Anita of Greenwood; granddaughter, Sarah Beth Eaton of Clinton; a brother, Russell Eaton and a sister, Ruby Eaton.
He was predeceased by two brothers, David Eaton and Ronald Eaton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
