Brunson Asbill, Jr. age 81 of 27860 Hwy 76 East passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Brunson Asbill, Sr. and the late Willette Shealy Asbill.
Mr. Asbill began his working career working as an express agent for 18 years with the R.E.A. and later became co-owner and operator of Eastside Florist and Greenhouses. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Clinton First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Nancy Senn Asbill, two sons, Brunson Ashley Asbill (Kathy Woods), Alton Montague Asbill (Robin) all of Clinton; four sisters, Juanita Neely of Marion, Shirley Hampton (Alvin) of Greenwood, Willette Campbell (Silas) of Clinton, Dianne Reddeck (Mike) of Clinton; brother-in-law, Roland Tidwell; grandchildren, Amanda Joy Asbill, Christopher Alton Asbill, Adam Brunson Asbill and predeceased by a granddaughter, Emily Anna Asbill.
He is also predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Tidwell and a brother-in-law, Buddy Nelson Neely.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 7th at 3:00 P.M. at the Clinton First Baptist Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will greet friends Wednesday before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the church.
