Boyd Wayne Ball

Boyd Wayne Ball, age 60, passed away May 8, 2025 at his home. He was born May 21, 1964 and grew up in Kentucky . He was the son of the late Babe Ruth Ball and Cloa Lonnie Jones Ball. He was a Retired Captain from Station 9 Columbia Fire Department and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather who deeply loved and cherished his family.

Mr. Ball is survived by his wife, Debra Ball; his daughters, Crystal Lawson, Jessica Davis (Hugh), and Katie Ball; his grandchildren, Andrew Moss, Margaret Davis, and Samantha Davis; his brothers, Larry and Troy Ball; his sisters, Vina Jean Ball and Velda Kaye Ball.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating along with Navy Military Honors.
