Bob Shaver, age 48, of 402 Longview Drive, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Bellevue, Ohio and was the son of Martha Foos Dise and James Robert Dise of Bellevue, OH and the late Donald G Shaver.
Mr. Shaver was an employee of Stock Buildings Supply. He was a member of the Wings of Hope and The Spring Church; and also served in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Ridlehuber Shaver of the home; his son, Jacob Allen Shaver of Laurens; his step sons, Joshua Stonell and Jordan Stonell, both of Laurens; his step daughter Nina Montjoy (Bobby) of Duncan; his granddaughter, Bailey Grace Montjoy; his brother, Scott Shaver (Aimee) of Mansfield, OH; his sister, Tracy Stritmatter (Andy) of Lewis Center, OH; his step-sisters, Deb Belcher (Robert), Lori Thomas (Steve), Teresa Frazier (Doug) and Jean Ann Gerber (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Austin Stritmatter, Justin Stritmatter, Brayden Shaver and Alexis Shaver; his grandmother, Ruth Shaver, many aunts and uncles; and his favorite dog (Black Dog).
He was predeceased by his father, paternal grandfather, and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14th at 11:00 A.M. at The Spring Church with interment at Westview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13th from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
