Betty Ann (Pike) Haden

Betty Ann (Pike) Haden, age 82, of Laurens, recent widow of Roy Haden, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born April 9, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas, Betty was the daughter of the late Everett Lee Pike and Nettie Marie (Thomas) Pike.

Betty is survived by her son, Michael Haden (Christina) of Boiling Springs; her daughter, Deborah Haden (David Luke) of Laurens; her brother, Robert Pike (Deb); her four grandchildren, Steven Jeffrey (Ashley), Nicole Penland (Zack), Jacob Haden, and Thomas Jeffrey; and her three great-grandchildren, Parker Jeffrey, Paisley Jeffrey, and Aspen Penland; her sisters-in-law, Betty Perdee of Missouri and Rita Fowler of Oregon.

Betty was always ready for an adventure and lived life to the fullest. In 1966, she left her childhood home with her new husband to begin her exciting life. She shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Roy. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and adventure. They traveled to multiple countries and proudly visited all 50 states by their 50th wedding anniversary — a testament to their love of exploring the world side by side. Betty cherished discovering new places, always grateful for the experiences and memories made along the way. She also enjoyed relaxing at home and embracing life’s simple pleasures with warmth and appreciation.

Above all, Betty was the keystone of her family. She was the steady presence who kept everyone connected, the heart of every gathering, and the quiet strength behind so many cherished traditions. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.

Her greatest joy in life was being “GiGi” to her three great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment with them. The memories she created with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will live on in their hearts forever. Betty also held a special place in her heart for the many kitties she lovingly cared for throughout her life.

She is also survived by many other loving extended family members and dear friends throughout the country.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 59 years, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Pike, and her sister, Dixie Lee Pike.

A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held in the near future, please reach out to the family for details.
