Belinda "Lynn" Gail Burdette

Belinda "Lynn" Gail Burdette, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.

She was born on January 27, 1953 in Greenville, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Arthur Burdette, Jr. and Betty Jeannean (Whisnant) Burdette Keaton.

Belinda was a loving resident of Whitten Center for 66 years. She was loved by all her caregivers of Unit 209. Belinda could not verbally express her love with words, but her smile and laughter would light up the room. She enjoyed going out on trips with her 209 Unit and friends. Belinda loved listening to music and rocking in her chair. Her last days on earth were made a bit sweeter by having her caregivers there to hold her hand and letting her know she was not alone. Belinda will always hold a special place in Unit 209 and Whitten Center’s heart and will be truly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 2:00PM at Brooker-Blakely All Faiths Chapel (Whitten Center).

Belinda will be buried at Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with her parents.
