Barry Anthony Gilliam

Barry A. Gilliam, age 61, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at his home.

He was born April 7, 1964 in Whitmire, South Carolina and was the son of the late L.E. Gilliam and Patricia Arnold Lipford. Barry attended Clemson University and was a former employee of the Whitmire and Union Water Plants. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitmire and loved working with electronics.

Barry is the last surviving member of his family and is survived by his step-father, Robert Lipford.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
