Amelia Hollis

Amelia Hollis, beloved wife for 67 years to the late Thomas Francis Hollis, was peacefully promoted to Heaven on September 25, 2016.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor, and friend to many. She had a servant’s heart for helping others and was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Renie (Charles) Adair, her four grandchildren, Hollis (Mike) Walsh of Lexington, C.T. (Cathryn) Adair of Newberry, Page (Jody) Beckwith of Grantville, GA, Chris Sayler of Jensen Beach, FL, and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Horace (Susan) Payne of Clinton, and sister, Jennie Lukstat of Mineral, VA. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Amelia Hollis.
Private memorial services have been held.
