Allen "Big Al" Lee Seymore, Sr

Allen “Big Al” Lee Seymore, Sr. age 75, widower of the love of his life, Margie Dale Seymore, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his home.

He was born on June 11, 1950 in Newberry, South Carolina and was the son of the late Edward Viola Seymore. Al was a member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Clinton High School. He retired from Thornwell Home for Children.

Al is survived by his children, Allen Seymore, Jr. (Pamela), Nancy Dale Glenn; his grandchildren, Austin, Lachoyce Jr., Cheyenne, Aaron and April; great-granddaughter, Valerie.

In addition to his mother and wife, Al is preceded in death by his son, David Joseph Seymore and son-in-law Lachoyce Glenn, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 2:00 in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Norman Dover officiating. The family will greet from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
