Roy Sexton age 89, of 424 Browning Avenue, died Friday, September 28, 2007, in the Laurens County Hospital.
Mr. Sexton was born in Batavia, Arkansas, a son of the late Albert Thomas and Sallie Graves Sexton.
He was retired from Greenwood Mills and a member of the Bush River Baptist Church.
Mr. Sexton was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Julian Sexton who passed away in 2002.
He is survived by a son, James R. Sexton of the Bush River Community, a daughter, Dianne S. Kinard of Seneca, S.C., five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 30, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. in the Bush River Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn at 4:30 P.M.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Members of his Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
