Hubert Tinsley
Hubert Tinsley, age 89, of 3986 Shady Grove Church Road died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Henderson, N.C. and was the son of the late Sherill and Margaret Praytor Tinsley.
Mr. Tinsley was a retired U.S. Marine Corp pilot and was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Rice Tinsley of the home; a daughter, Ellen Tinsley of Fuquay Varina, NC ; two sons, Randy Tinsley of Thailand and Peter Tinsley of the home; a grandson, William Pugh and two great grandchildren, McKensie and Naomi.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Lewis, S. C., Lenorie and Francis.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Epworth United Methodist Church in Joanna with interment in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
