Gail Thompson Wasson, age 67, of 4534 Torrington Road died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Laurens County and was the daughter of Margaret Thompson of Laurens and the late Guy Thompson.
Mrs. Wasson was retired from Torrington Bearings Co. and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Barney Carroll Wasson of the home; a son, Barney C. Wasson, Jr. and his wife Tara of Laurens; two daughters, Jacquie Burroughs and her husband, Don of Laurens; Cathy Sibirzeff and her husband, Peter of Connecticut; grandchildren, Jennifer Ballard and husband, Ryan, Jesse Andrew Burroughs and wife, Keri, Alexander Sibirzeff, Natasha Sibirzeff, Gabriellen Gail Wasson and Tatum Wasson; great grandchildren, Rylee Ballard, Devan Ballard and Jesse Andrew Burroughs, Jr.; brother, Charles Wendell Thompson and wife, Diane of Laurens; sisters, Mary Henrietta Leopard and husband, Olin of Simpsonville, Pamela Campbell and husband, Henry of Laurens and Barbara Collins and husband, Gene of Laurens.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Westview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
