Dallas J. Wilbanks, age 39 of 50 Glenwood Dr., #149, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Union county and was a son of Leonard Jackson Wilbanks of Clinton and the late Jan Odetta Reeder Lever and step-father, Charles “Chuck” V. Lever of Clinton.
Dallas was a welder and was a former assistant coach with Clinton
High Athletics; was a graduate of Clinton High School Class of 1989 where he participated in sports.
Surviving are his wife, Trisha MacDonald of Greenville, two step-children, Steven and Lynnsey Arant of the home, three brothers, Travis Wilbanks of Laurens, Casey Wilbanks and Derek Wilbanks both of Clinton; a sister, Shannon Wilbanks Garner of Clinton, maternal grandmother, Lillian “Nan” Hallman of Clinton and paternal grandmother, Ellen Wise of Joanna.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
